APPOEMN ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES
Association of Professional Party Organisers and Event
Managers of Nigeria (APPOEMN) held its 3rd Annual General Meeting
(AGM) on 28th June, 2016. The major focus of the AGM was to adopt a
new constitution and elect executives to pilot their affairs for the next two
(2) years
This transition took place with the introduction of Gbemisola
Ope as the President of association. Funke Bucknor Obruthe passed the baton to
Gbemisola Ope after two years of outstanding service! While accepting to
lead the association, the President said “I am excited about taking APPOEMN to
the next level. It will not be easy, it will be gradual and it will be a lot of
fun. But with your support I know it can and will be done”.
The new executive have the mandate of the association to
work assiduously to propagate the ideas of the association, develop and
maintain standards while accommodating all stakeholders. This is the dawn of a
new era in the event industry in Nigeria.
